Meet Tesiah

I’m Tesiah, a double board-certified Nurse Practitioner and 2x founder who helps healthcare teams deliver great care, train their people, and roll out new services that patients love and clinicians can sustain.

I’ve built and scaled care in the real world—co-founding Kyndred as CCO to design culturally responsive, digital-first women’s healthcare, and founding Togather, a CE-accredited platform that upskills clinicians through community. I’ve led virtual care and clinical quality at Tia through rapid multi-state growth and created Violet’s Clinical Quality Educational Interventions (CQEI) program, authoring 12+ CME collections that measurably improved provider performance.

I regularly speak on equitable care design, anti-racist clinical practice, digital health, and provider well-being. If you're building something aligned—or looking for a speaker or collaborator—feel free to reach out.

  • “Any opportunity to work with Tesiah is one worth taking. Tesiah joined Violet as a consultant/contractor, helping to think about the way Violet designed, organized, and delivered advanced education (focused on clinical outcomes). Tesiah is collaborative, results-driven, and excels at setting and executing on long-term product/strategy vision. She brings a wealth of experience to the table, and is exceedingly generous with sharing her knowledge and expertise. Tesiah really helped to focus the Violet education team, set our long-term education strategy, and left us with number of frameworks and tools to build upon. Tesiah brings a positive and hard-working energy to any team she is a part of.”

  • “When I joined Tia in early 2021, an important part of my mandate was to build Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs. One of the early iterations of this was a mentorship program aiming at bringing underrepresented talent at Tia to leadership meetings and seeking their input on the strategic direction of the Company, new programs, goals, talent assessments and more, while supporting them with an assigned mentor. Tesiah was selected to represented the Clinical org and became an integral part of the leadership meetings. Tesiah's experience in the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion space along with her clinical skills helped her to advance quickly within the organization moving from individual contributor to Director. She also led the creation of materials that became a leanings series for providers around providing care through the lens of social justice. Tesiah has the clinical skills of expertise to not only treat patients with care and compassion through an equitable lens (I can remember reading multiple positive comments about Tesiah's interactions with patients), but also to lead the development or programming and supervising a team of clinicians.”

  • “Tesiah is one of those people who inspire excellence in all who work with or for her. I was fortunate to work with Tesiah in a number of different capacities throughout her time at Tia. Whether we were collaborating on designing tech product tools to support our care team, planning interdisciplinary collaboration and community building projects for our clinical team, or creating clinical guidelines to uphold an excellent standard of patient care, Tesiah always pushed us to raise the bar on what we could accomplish. Tesiah combines collaborative energy, intellect, kindness, and advocacy in a way I have not encountered in anyone else and every moment we worked together was a pleasure. I have no doubt that Tesiah will bring these same skills to any team and inspire excellence in all of her endeavors in the same way she has at Tia.”

  • “I had the pleasure of working with Tesiah during her time as a writer for The Nursing Beat newsletter, and she consistently impressed me with her ability to make complex health equity topics not only accessible but truly engaging. Health equity can be a tough subject to translate for readers — yet Tesiah managed to strike the perfect balance between depth and readability. Her pieces were informative, nuanced, and easy to digest without ever losing their professional integrity or impact. Beyond her writing talent, Tesiah’s work consistently delivered some of the strongest analytics and engagement metrics across our publication. She has a sharp understanding of what resonates with audiences and a keen sense for how to structure content that both educates and inspires. Tesiah is a thoughtful, insightful writer who elevates every project she touches. I highly recommend her to any team looking for a content creator who combines expertise, creativity, and measurable results.”

  • “Tesiah is a brilliant clinical leader who finds a way to blend clinical excellence, outcomes, advocacy and humility into leadership, clinical care and organizational growth in an exceptional way. During my time working with Tesiah at Tia, I watched her make the "leap" from clinician to clinician+operator+strategist and can't wait to see how she supports other organizations who may be looking for a strong clinician leader who can help their organization grow with all the right foundation in place. Tia is better because Tesiah was there!”

  • “I have had the wonderful opportunity to work and collaborate with Tesiah over a number of years across a variety of roles. I've seen Tesiah speak and teach on some of the largest stages in healthtech, and she is one of my top recommendations for organizations and companies looking for speakers, educators, and consultants. She is a healthcare visionary whose deep experiences in direct care, technology, and health equity allow her to bring a grounded and nuanced approach to finding solutions for problems in our industry. I know that my work and professional experiences (and others’) have been positively impacted by her knowledgeable contributions, her ability to lead with values, and her consistent delivery of above and beyond results.”
